Pact and its two resource partners - Center for Democracy Development and Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health, joined the 8th Annual Civil Society Capacity Development Forum held on December 5, 2019. Pact and UWF co-hosted a session to present Canada’s development program, specifically Women’s Voice and Leadership initiative and Women of Ukraine project. Ashley Mulroney, Head of Development Cooperation, presented an overview of FIAP and emphasized the need to support women’s rights organizations and strengthen women’s movement in Ukraine. Pact together with resource partners hosted one more session dedicated specifically to elimination of violence against women because the CD Forum was taking place during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
