Support for local women’s rights organizations initiatives, aimed at advancing gender equality, ensuring women’s rights and empowering vulnerable women and girls
Under the Project ‘Women of Ukraine: Heard, Capable, Resilient’ undertaken with the financial support of the Global Affairs Canada Pact invites Ukrainian Women Rights Organizations (WROs) to submit proposals in response to the Annual Program Statement.
The goal of the Women of Ukraine: Heard, Capable, Resilient project is increased enjoyment of human rights by women and girls and the advancement of gender equality in Ukraine.
This Annual Program Statement is aimed to support initiatives of local WROs, representing interests of or providing services to the most vulnerable and marginalized women and girls, such as: internally displaced women and girls and other categories of women and girls, affected by the conflict in the East of Ukraine (women combatants and veterans, widows and mothers of fallen warriors); LGBTIQ women; women living with disabilities; women living with HIV; Roma women; rural women and girls.
Winners within this statement will be announced quarterly through September 30, 2020. Applications are accepted starting from the date of announcement and through August 15, 2020.
