On March 10, 2020, on the occasion of International Women's Day, simultaneously, in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv and Kherson, the bell rang to draw attention to the key role of business in promoting gender equality. In Vinnitsa, Bronwyn Cruden, Deputy Director of the Canadian Development Program and Elena Trapeznikova, Senior Project Coordinator of the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine, joined the event.
For the first time in Ukraine, the event was made possible thanks to collaboration between the UN Global Compact Network in Ukraine and the "Women of Ukraine:heard, Capable, Resilient" Project, which is being implemented by Pact with the support of the Global Affairs Canada.
Project's regional hub partners – NGO "New Generation Community Center" in Kherson, Women's Perspectives Center in Lviv, Human Rights Organization "Springs of Hope" in Vinnytsia and the Center for Gender Culture in Kharkiv – co-organized the events.
